Paint my bitter face and brittle frown
With the sweetest sight
Of the softest snow cascading down
Upon this wintry English night
For I have never had the rarer chance
On solemn nights as these
To see the tumbling raindrop dance
As the snow upon this breeze
And plunging hailstones never seemed so clear
Or peaceful in the air
As I gazed beyond a deforming tear
And brands they bid me bear
The roads and roses fade in slumber
Under ghostly sheathes
As the heavens way and sway asunder
As the drifting starlight weaves
No, I never saw a soothing splendour
From such celestial height
As the softest snow cascading down
Upon this wintry English night

"it seems to me most strange that men should fear, seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come."
Absolutely sensational poetry, my friend. You've outdone yourself this time.
Everything is perfect and you never cease to amaze. Great job!
